The ideal candidate is a professional, detail-oriented, discreet individual committed to providing seamless, high-touch service from check-in through follow-up.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Experience & Front Office OperationsWelcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and discretion in a clinical environmentManage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and patient flow efficientlyServe as a knowledgeable point of contact for patient questions regarding services, policies, and next stepsMaintain a calm, polished demeanor while multitasking in a fast-paced settingInsurance Verification & Billing SupportVerify insurance eligibility, benefits, referrals, and authorizations before appointmentsClearly communicate coverage, estimates, and financial responsibility to patientsCollect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at the time of serviceAssist with billing inquiries, claim follow-up, and payment postingCollaborate with providers to ensure accurate documentation and claims submissionPatient Intake & DocumentationComplete patient registration and intake, ensuring accuracy and confidentialityMaintain electronic medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulationsObtain and scan required forms, consents, and insurance documentationPractice CoordinationSupport daily front office operations and assist with administrative tasksCommunicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient care transitionsUphold practice standards, policies, and brand presentationDISCOVER WHO WE AREAt South Coast Dermatology, we're more than just a dermatology and cosmetic center-we're a team dedicated to providing the highest quality, compassionate care for our patients.
