Warehouse Logistics Associate

Forklift OperatorWe are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support our Engine Program. This position is responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and staging engine components throughout the warehouse while supporting Shipping & Receiving operations at the Engine Dock. Candidates will also receive cross-training in the Kitting department to provide backup support when production demands require.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of forklift operation, warehouse responsibilities, and material handling in a manufacturing logistics environment.Essential ResponsibilitiesSafely operate sit-down forklifts to transport engines, components, and materials throughout the facility.Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments while following safety and quality procedures.Receive, inspect, and stage incoming materials for production and inventory.Supply production areas with materials as needed to maintain workflow.Verify shipments against packing slips and work orders.Assist with shipping documentation and help maintain inventory accuracy.Cross-train in the Kitting department to assemble and prepare material kits for production.Pull and stage parts according to work orders and production schedules.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues.Work closely with warehouse, shipping, and production teams to meet customer deadlines.Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.QualificationsPrevious forklift experience preferred.Experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse operations is a plus.Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.Comfortable standing, walking, and operating equipment for extended periods.Ability to read work orders, shipping paperwork, and labels.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.Willingness to cross-train and assist in multiple departments as needed.Preferred SkillsSit-Down Forklift OperationShipping & ReceivingMaterial HandlingInventory ControlOrder PickingKittingWarehouse OperationsManufacturing or Distribution ExperienceTeamworkSafety AwarenessNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
