This unique American restaurant in Tampa blends elevated comfort food, craft drinks, and interactive games, making it a neighborhood social hub where all walks of life come together for brunch, family dinner, or a spontaneous night on the patio.

As a Server here, you'll walk guests through our menu of elevated comfort food and craft drinks, recommend pairings and keep the energy going from the moment they sit down to the moment they cash out. You'll manage multiple tables with accuracy and pace, communicate closely with the kitchen and bar to make sure every order lands right, and handle checks and payments smoothly so every visit ends on a high note. This role requires open availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. 

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with warmth and intention — first impressions are everything here
• Guide guests through our menu with confidence, enthusiasm, and genuine knowledge of each dish and cocktail
• Present daily specials and answer questions in a way that builds excitement
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and seamlessly 
• Be the bridge between kitchen and guest, ensuring every dish arrives exactly as it should
• Assist with and narrate the finishing presentations that make 1983 unforgettable
• Process checks and payments with efficiency and a warm close to the experience
• Pitch in wherever needed — great teams don't have blind spots

What You'll Bring

• Strong working knowledge of the full menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials
• Thorough understanding of common food allergies and cross-contamination protocols
• Previous experience required serving in a fast-paced, upscale, high-volume restaurant
• Must have open availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask gracefully under pressure
• A polished, professional presence paired with genuine hospitality

Physical Requirements

• Stand for long periods in this active role
• Carry and balance trays weighing up to 25 lbs
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy dining environment
