Qualifications You'll Need

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or another approved specialty
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
