Freebirds World Burrito is looking for talented Shift Leaders who are committed to providing exceptional guest service and passionate about leading others. Responsibilities
- Previous leadership experience
- Ability to work at a fast pace and high-volume workload
- Deliver crave-able food through recipe adherence and food quality standards
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- The ability to empower and mentor the Tribe
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Must learn to cross-train in all positions
- Must get a manager's food handlers certification upon hire
- Able to withstand comfortably the physical demands of a retail environment.
- The ability to demonstrate our Values daily: Teamwork, Relentlessness, Integrity, Best in Class, and Empowerment
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift)
- Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use
- Use ladders occasionally
- Work in varying environments including hot kitchen areas and walk‑in coolers/freezers
- Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
