Property and Casualty Insurance Producer - Insurance - Base Salary to 70k/year - Stamford, CT

- Our client is an established insurance agency offering a strong opportunity for growth and the ability to build and grow your own book of business. They are looking for a Property and Casualty Insurance Producer to join their team in Stamford.
Responsibilities:
- Sell personal lines and property and casualty insurance products to new and existing clients
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, win-back opportunities, and other client acquisition activities
- Build and maintain a book of business through ongoing client follow-up and account development
- Prepare accurate insurance quotes and assist clients with personal insurance coverage needs
- Work with insurance coverage, underwriting, and rating procedures throughout the sales and quoting process
Qualifications:
- Experience selling personal insurance or personal lines property and casualty insurance products
- Experience with insurance coverage, underwriting, rating procedures, and quoting
- Proven success in B2C and/or B2B sales, new business development, prospecting, or client acquisition
- Active Connecticut xhyhwjd Personal Lines insurance license preferred; candidates without an active license must obtain one within 30 days of employment
- Must be located within approximately one hour of Stamford or New Haven, Connecticut for full consideration for this position
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 60k - 70k/year range plus uncapped commission
