Senior MEP Project Manager I & II

Senior MEP Project Manager I & IIMortenson is currently seeking a Senior MEP Project Manager that will provide leadership and manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects or MEP scopes on medium to large projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and safety, mentoring the project team, potentially overseeing multiple projects, and developing strong customer relationships through excellent service.This position offers opportunities at both levels 1 and 2, allowing candidates to apply based on their experience and qualifications. Compensation for this role is determined based on factors such as experience and location.Responsibilities:Supervise the 3-D coordination and commissioning processes, ensuring conflict resolution and testingSupervise the overall financial health of data center projects including projections, budgeting, and invoicingOversee subcontractor and supplier selections, billings, and contract managementLead project closeout activities, including manuals, model turnover, and trainingSupervise and develop Assistant Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s)Serve as main contact for owner, resolving site concerns and building relationshipsManage change orders and obtain necessary approvalsEnsure quality, risk, safety, and compliance throughout the projectQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent field experienceDemonstrate ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for complex projectsDetail orientation sufficient to organize and run multiple project tasksPossess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practicesMicrosoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate levelPositive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsAbility to interpret and communicate Mortenson policiesCurrent driver's licenseAbility to travel up to 100%Senior MEP Project Manager I:Minimum Qualifications:Minimum eight years construction management experience, preferably with a Mechanical or Electrical ContractorBasic understanding of construction law and business practicesThe base pay range for this role is $144,300 - $216,500Senior MEP Project Manager IIMinimum Qualifications:Minimum ten years construction management experience, preferably experience with a Mechanical or Electrical ContractorMinimum five years' experience building data centersThe base pay range for this role is $158,900 - $238,400(Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
