Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of a growing automotive distribution and retail organization. In this role, you will... Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity. Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance. Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reporting packages. Support external audits, tax reporting, and compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. Partner with operational leaders to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency. Mentor and provide guidance to accounting staff while supporting departmental initiatives and special projects. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Experience managing month-end close and general ledger accounting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr ROARK
