Job Summary

Geisinger is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Infectious Disease Physician to join our team in Danville, PA.

Job Duties

Opportunity Details

• Schedule rotate between Peds ID physicians

• Clinic hours: M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes outpatient, inpatient rounding, and Peds ID consults)

• Outpatient clinics: rotate among Peds ID physicians

• Call coverage: Peds ID physicians and CHOP Peds ID.

• Limited O/N call coverage (5 Weekday o/n) and weekend coverage (1 weekend per month)

• O/N calls are light; all are phone-call only

• Pediatric ID is a consultative service

• One physician partner with a collaboration with Pediatric Specialties

• Nurse coordinator helps to manage Epic in Basket and referrals

• AI dictation

• Telemedicine available

• 41 bed NICU

• 14 bed PICU

• 36 beds Children’s 2 and Children’s 3

• Pediatric psychologist, nutritional support, pharmacy support, care management support, Peds ID social worker

• Affiliation with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)

Experience

Certification(s) and License(s)

Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
