Duties:

Prepares patient for EEG exam, applies electrodes to patient's head, operates and maintains appropriate equipment, identifies tracing, prepares records.

Skills:

At least 1 year of EEG Technologist experience

Education/Certifications:

High school diploma or its educational equivalent, approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization AND
#1: At least 1 year of experience as an Electroencephalograph Technician in a hospital or health care setting. OR #2: Satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and experience, where Certificate of Completion from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) recognized training program. OR #3: Graduate from Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited program may be substituted for one (1) year of experience, as described in #1 above.
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
High School Diploma/GED required

Shift:

Please ensure candidates have full availability for the assignment period and the shift required.
It will be a mix of 12 and 11 hour shifts, mostly nights and weekends.
Times will typically be 7 PM - 7 AM or 8 PM - 8 AM, and the occasional day shift from 7 AM - 7 PM.
