GRADE ASTD7 LOCATION OF POSITION MDH Dorchester County Health Department 627 Race Street Cambridge, MD 21613 Main Purpose of Job The main purpose of this part‑time position is to effectively provide clerical support for the Fleet Maintenance Program at the Dorchester County Health Department. This position will prepare Fleet Master Vehicle Mileage forms, schedule routine services for preventive maintenance and cleaning of all vehicles, and respond to emergencies regarding vehicles. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Completion of the eighth grade. Experience: One year of performing clerical duties in an office environment. Additional qualifications may be substituted on a year‑for‑year basis: additional clerical experience, high‑school equivalency, six months of clerical training covering keyboarding, clerical math, word processing, spreadsheets, database, graphics presentation, proofreading, or office etiquette, or U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non‑commissioned officer in Administrative classifications. DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with and/or knowledge of vehicles Experience in vehicle detailing Experience with computers Experience in providing customer service BENEFITS State of Maryland benefits.
