Overnight stays will be needed to care for pets when the family is traveling. Position Summary A private family seeks an experienced, detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundress to maintain an exceptional private residence to five-star luxury resort standards. This hands-on role is ideal for a highly organized professional who takes pride in creating and preserving an immaculate, welcoming, and guest-ready environment at all times. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in luxury private households, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and have a strong understanding of fine home care, laundry, wardrobe management, and household organization. The ideal individual is discreet, proactive, service-oriented, and capable of working independently while anticipating the needs of the family and residence. Key Responsibilities Housekeeping & Estate Care Perform daily housekeeping, tidying, and full property resets throughout the day. Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all interior and exterior living spaces. Vacuum, mop, and care for floors, daily. Clean and maintain front entrance areas, outdoor living spaces, patios, and outdoor kitchen areas. Ensure the residence remains guest-ready and impeccably presented at all times. Maintain organization and cleanliness of drawers, cabinets, closets, storage areas, and household systems. Perform specialty cleaning projects, seasonal deep cleaning, and detailed cleaning tasks as needed. Conduct weekly deep cleaning of refrigerators. Water and care for interior plants, flowers, and decorative arrangements. Laundry & Wardrobe Management Manage all household laundry with expert care and attention to fabric-specific requirements. Wash, fold, press, steam, and iron garments, linens, and household textiles. Maintain luxury wardrobe standards, including proper garment care, storage, and closet organization. Put away laundry and ensure wardrobes, closets, and dressing areas remain organized and pristine. Coordinate dry-cleaning pick-up and delivery services and properly return garments to designated locations. Change and refresh bed linens a minimum of twice weekly or as required. Household Operations Load and unload dishwashers daily and maintain kitchen organization. Restock beverage refrigerators and refresh hospitality stations. Collect and distribute mail and packages daily. Monitor household inventory levels and replenish supplies, including: Bathroom amenities Paper products Cleaning products Household consumables Laundry and linen supplies Maintain supply storage areas in an organized and efficient manner. Pet Care Provide daily care for household cats, including feeding and fresh water. Clean food and water bowls daily. Perform daily litter box maintenance and deep cleaning when needed. Monitor and maintain pet food, litter, medications, and supplies inventory. Provide occasional pet supervision and care during family travel. Family & Guest Support Provide household support during family gatherings, events, and guest visits. Assist with entertaining preparation, service support, and post-event cleanup. Assist with seasonal and holiday décor installation, maintenance, and removal. Run occasional household errands as requested. Provide occasional house-sitting, pet-sitting, and travel coverage support when needed. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Housekeeper, Laundress, or Housekeeper/Laundress within a private estate, HNW, or UHNW household. Demonstrated longevity and success supporting luxury residences with high standards of service. Strong knowledge of fine home care, household organization, cleaning methods, and estate standards. Extensive experience with luxury laundry, fine linens, couture garments, wardrobe care, and fabric maintenance. Comfortable working around and caring for household pets; must be an animal lover. Professional, discreet, trustworthy, dependable, and service-oriented demeanor. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Proficiency with basic technology, including email, texting, and household management applications. Experience maintaining luxury residences to hotel, resort, or yacht-level standards. Knowledge of fine furnishings, antiques, natural stone, specialty surfaces, and luxury finishes. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a private family environment.

• One week (5 days) of vacation will be scheduled during periods when the primary is traveling or otherwise designated as preferred vacation time.
• The remaining 5 vacation days may be requested by the employee, subject to household scheduling needs and prior approval.
