NOC Surveillance Analyst

Job Overview RingCentral is seeking a NOC Surveillance Analyst to join the Network Operations Center during the 2nd shift. The role involves monitoring production networks, investigating alarms, and managing complex VOIP/Voice, data, or system issues using RingCentral’s standard operating procedures. Responsibilities Monitor production networks to detect system issues and alarms. Investigate alarms/issues and resolve or escale per Standard Operating Procedures. Provide analysis and support in escalation tickets for complex VOIP/Voice, data, or system incidents. Enter and update data in multiple ticketing systems, keeping information accurate and up to date. Implement disaster recovery procedures to prevent or limit system downtime. Triage with business partners, vendors, and customers to resolve issues swiftly. Respond promptly to incoming communications (phone, email, instant messaging, etc.) and direct reports to the appropriate parties. Required Technical Skills Minimum 2 years of work experience. College degree or equivalent experience. Familiarity with Windows and Linux based systems. Experience with VOIP and SIP protocols. Basic networking principles: TCP/IP, Experience with JIRA and Confluence. Knowledge of change management best practices. Required Soft Skills Analytical thinking. Disciplined. Clear communication skills. Quick learner. Stress resistance. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with event management systems such as HP Open View, Zabbix, Solar Winds, BMC. Compensation For employees hired in Colorado, the compensation range for this position is between $57,400 and $82,000 for full-time employees, with eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits.
