As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver welcoming customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and report observations promptly. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Complete accurate incident reports, activity logs, and other required documentation to support security-related operations. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
