Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant in Greensboro, North Carolina - Advanced Procedures, Weekday Schedule

Take on a procedural cardiothoracic surgery role with CABG, robotic thoracic, valve, and advanced heart failure cases in an adult inpatient setting.

Highlights

• Advanced cardiothoracic procedural mix
• First assist responsibilities
• Dedicated office Physician Assistant and two RNs
• Advanced heart failure exposure

Practice & Cases

• Adult inpatient volume of 15 to 25 patients
• Approximately 5 to 8 CABGs and 4 to 6 robotic thoracic and chest cases per week
• Endoscopic vein harvesting and first assist
• Open and TAVR valves with occasional LVAD and Impella placements

Schedule

• Monday through Friday daytime coverage
• Weeknight call coverage
• Minimum of one weekend of call per month

Requirements

• Must be a Physician Assistant
• Cardiothoracic Surgery board certification required
• Active North Carolina license required
• DEA required
