What You'll Do

• Assist with cardiothoracic surgeries, including CABGs, robotic thoracic/chest cases, open surgeries, and TAVR valve procedures
• Support the advanced heart failure team with LVAD and Impella device placements
• Perform endoscopic vein harvesting and act as a first assist during surgeries
• Document procedures and patient care using EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Support patient management in a high-volume, adult patient population

What You Need

• Required: North Carolina State License, DEA certification, Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
• Required: 2+ years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery, endoscopic vein harvesting skills
• Preferred: Experience with robotic thoracic cases and LVAD/Impella placements
• Key Skills: Strong surgical assist capabilities, excellent documentation skills, team collaboration
