Regional Manager - Operations

Responsibilities Provide direct operational support to 5–12 veterinary hospitals within a defined region Drive daily operational consistency and reinforce medical, service, safety, and quality standards Monitor client feedback, NPS, online reviews, service metrics, inventory, controlled drugs, and medical records Conduct regular hospital visits and practice assessments covering operations, workflows, staffing, safety, and client service Support Practice Managers with SOPs, policies, quality standards, operational troubleshooting, and decision‑making Manage regional P&L performance and review operational KPIs and financial reports Support labor efficiency, cost controls, productivity targets, revenue growth, and operational improvement plans Coach and mentor Practice Managers; partner with Medical Directors on hospital culture and alignment Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, employee engagement, and workplace challenges Support integration of newly acquired hospitals and rollout of new systems, technology platforms, and programs Provide leadership with feedback on regional needs, challenges, and resource requirements Supervise hospital Practice Managers, Office Managers, and hospital team members Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Veterinary Management, or related field, or equivalent experience in multi‑site operations 3+ years of management or multi‑site operations experienceStrong understanding of customer service, staff management, scheduling, and workflow operations Ability to analyze data, understand KPIs, and manage performance plans Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship‑building skills Ideally located in the Cincinnati area Veterinary or animal health industry experience preferred Knowledge of veterinary practice management software preferred Experience in a fast-paced, growing multi‑location business environment preferred Certification in Veterinary Practice Management preferred Working knowledge of financial accounting systems, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint Ability to travel regularly to hospitals 50–70% in the Cincinnati/TN area Ability to participate in operational meetings and potentially attend off‑site conferences, seminars, and workshops Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in managing multi‑site operations within the veterinary or animal health industry, focusing on operational efficiency, financial performance, and staff development.
