Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role involves performing electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for residential and commercial projects in accordance with local and national codes. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, power systems, and control systems

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams

• Troubleshoot issues using appropriate testing equipment and methods

• Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations

• Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and team members

• Supervise and mentor apprentices and ensure quality control on site

• Accurately complete job-related documentation and material requisitions

• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute project timelines

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of electrical experience in residential and/or commercial work

• Strong knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code)

• Proficient in using electrical tools and equipment (e.g., multimeters, conduit benders)

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Working Conditions:

• Work may take place indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work at heights or in confined spaces

• Standard work hours with occasional overtime or weekends depending on project needs
