As a Software Engineer 2, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that support JLL's digital workplace platforms. You will work closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features while contributing to long-term code health and technical excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain full-stack applications using modern web technologies and cloud-native architecturesWrite clean, testable, and maintainable code with comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end testsCollaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutionsParticipate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvementChampion "shift-left" quality practices by embedding testing early in the development lifecycleTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely mannerContribute to documentation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing within the engineering teamAdhere to JLL's security, compliance, and operational standardsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)Databricks platform experience includes Python, PySpark and data pipeline developmentPower BI development skills including DAX, Power Query, and embedded dashboard creation2–4 years of professional software development experience in at least one backend language (e.g., C#, Node.js) and one frontend framework (e.g., Angular, React, Next.js)Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and relational or NoSQL databasesFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, distributed team environment with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailExperience with AI agents and integrating AI/ML capabilities into applicationsWhy Join JLL?Be part of a global leader in real estate and facility services with a strong digital transformation agendaWork on impactful products that shape the future of workplace experienceCollaborate with diverse, international teams across time zonesAccess to professional development, mentorship, and career growth opportunitiesThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
