Job Details Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse Location: Olympia, Washington Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts Shift Duration: 12 hours Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,770 - $1,860 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Setting: Acute care hospital Patient Ratio: 1:5 on days and nights Charting: Epic Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per contract Floating: Required between like units within skill set On-Call: Not required Job Requirements Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Washington or compact license in hand at time of submission Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience BLS certification required Epic charting experience required Experience caring for medical-surgical and telemetry patients in an acute care setting Ability to float to similar units as needed Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills References covering recent clinical experience Must be comfortable working scheduled weekends and selected holidays Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients Monitor telemetry patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition Manage post-surgical and medically complex patients in a fast-paced acute care environment Perform assessments, administer medications, and support individualized treatment plans Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members Document thoroughly and accurately in Epic Support patient education, discharge planning, and discharge readiness Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and teamwork throughout the assignment Apply now for this Travel Med/Surg Telemetry RN job in Olympia, Washington, and join a healthcare team dedicated to exceptional patient care.
