Dental Assistant Office Manager — Join Our Growing Team at Commack Dental Design!
Commack Dental Design is seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant Office Manager to join our busy, multi-specialty dental practice. In this key role, you will oversee daily office operations, provide dental assistance, manage front desk duties, and ensure an outstanding patient experience. If you have strong communication skills, dental office know-how, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!
We are a rapidly growing dental practice located in Commack, NY, specializing in both general and multi-specialty dentistry. Requirements
- Dentrix
- Experienced Dental Assistant (2+ years)
Minimum of 2 years experience in a dental office setting
Proficient in Dentrix practice management software
Strong knowledge of dental billing, coding, and insurance procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage office workflow effectively
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
Job Description
Manage daily front office operations, including scheduling, patient check-in/out, and billing
Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures
Handle dental billing and insurance claims accurately and efficiently
Maintain and update patient records using Dentrix software
Coordinate communication between staff, patients, and external providers
Supervise and train front desk and support staff as needed
Ensure compliance with office policies, HIPAA regulations, and dental industry standards
Deliver excellent customer service to enhance the patient experience
