Financial Analysis - Marketing - Senior Associate

Join the Marketing Finance & Business Management team to turn complex financial data into clear business insight and action. You’ll partner across the firm to help shape decisions through forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting. You’ll also modernize how results are delivered by streamlining processes and building new reporting capabilities.As a Senior Associate within the Marketing Finance & Business Management team, you will partner across the firm to deliver financial and strategic analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. You will analyze, reconcile, and translate accounting and technical data into reporting to be delivered on a regular basis and prepare executive-ready insights. You will drive continuous improvement by enhancing controls, streamlining processes, and introducing automation and new reporting capabilities. In addition, you will be advising the line of business CFOs on how to increase profitability and efficiencies and provide support across the department with special projects or components of other projects as needed.Job ResponsibilitiesManage annual and continual financial planning for assigned product areasProvide month-end performance and forecast rationales to support business decisionsConduct reviews and deep-dive analyses of product financial performanceAnalyze consumption/demand planning, budgeting, billing, trends, and exception reportingDevelop efficiency reporting, analytics, and strategy insights (e.g., location strategy, span of control)Build financial business cases to support business initiativesMonitor key metrics, drive data-quality initiatives across the product area, and Define forward-looking reporting and analytics needs for the product areaDevelop and track performance metrics, create presentations, and generally provide financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior managementPerform variance analysis and explain key drivers versus prior forecasts/budgetsDesign new reports/dashboards and streamline processes through controls and automationRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature4+ years of work experience in Financial Analysis, Business Management, Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Controller or related fieldAdvanced skills in Excel and PowerPointProficiency in data mining/gathering and data set manipulationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze large data sets and present concise conclusionsStrong verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues clearlyAbility to create ad hoc reporting for senior managementProven track record executing special projects with limited lead time and ambiguityTeam-oriented approach and the ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines with strong prioritization/time managementProven ability to manage relationships and act as a trusted partner to the Business, Finance, and P&A stakeholdersPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFinancial services industry experienceExperience with or interest in utilizing AI tools (Copilot, LLM, etc)DatabricksEssbaseAdditional InformationTo be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
