Location: Shreveport, LA
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Summary


We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Parts Counter Representative to join our team in Shreveport. This role is ideal for someone with previous parts sales experience who enjoys helping customers, managing inventory, and working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in customers promptly and provide outstanding customer service.
• Process walk-in, phone, and email parts inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare accurate parts and service quotes for customers.
• Assist the sales team with parts pricing, availability, and ordering.
• Help customers and technicians identify the correct replacement parts.
• Receive, stock, label, and organize inventory.
• Maintain clean, organized parts rooms, warehouse areas, and showroom displays.
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory.
• Coordinate manufacturer warranty claims and parts returns.
• Load and unload delivery trucks as needed.
• Process sales transactions, including cash, check, and credit card payments.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain an organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous parts counter or parts sales experience required .
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable using computers for data entry and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in warehouse, shop, and outdoor environments throughout the year.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Forklift experience or the ability to safely operate a forklift.
