Production Supervisor - 2nd shift (Food Manufacturing)

Plant Operations Manager

Reporting to the Business Unit Leader at our Council Bluffs, IA facility, local producers of Marie Callendar, Healthy Choice, Banquet products and more, you will lead plant operations and process improvement efforts by guiding teams to achieve production, quality, safety, and cost targets. You will identify and resolve production constraints, ensure resources are aligned to daily plans, and foster an engaged, team-oriented workforce that drives continuous improvement and business results.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Lead team members to execute daily production plans that meet quality, productivity, and cost standards
• Identify operational issues or bottlenecks and lead structured, team-based problem-solving efforts to resolve them
• Monitor production performance to ensure established standards are maintained
• Support employee development through training, coaching, and performance feedback
• Support oversight of sanitation and operations activities to maintain a clean, food safe manufacturing environment
• Ensure adherence to plant rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Promote and support plant and company safety programs and compliance with defined safety requirements
• Participate in development of daily plans and delivery of daily line performance
• Drive execution and sustainment of standard work to achieve daily direction setting results
• Lead shift handoff meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment between shifts

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• 3-5 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment is a plus
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

More information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. You will be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination. You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation

Pay Range: $64,000-$95,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
