What You'll Do:

• Collect end-of-line product samples at predetermined intervals and perform quality testing according to established work instructions and procedures.
• Conduct testing for thickness, basis weight, fiber diameter, fiber index, friability, crystallinity, tensile strength, and compression.
• Provide production support, including relief for End of Line operators and assistance with needle board rebuilding and refurbishment
• Audit production lines and product quality while communicating test results and sorting requirements with production teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area; complete shift turnover reports and accurately enter test results into electronic systems.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, quality control, inspection, or production environment.

What Sets You Apart:

• Associate Degree
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, the ability to learn and access information through computer databases, and the ability to read simple gauges and follow work instructions.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
• Lifting requirements up to 50 lbs., be able to handle repetitive stair and ladder climbing, and work successfully in team environment.
• Tools and equipment used: Fork truck, computer, wet scrubber, furnaces, small hand tools, carton sealer, stapler, carton erector, tape gun, stretch wrapper, power washer, etc.
• Facilities Used: Electricity, water, compressed air, steam, LP gas, etc.
• Materials Used: Ceramic Fiber mixes, cutters, bags, stretch wrap, hand tools.
