BIM Coordinator

As a BIM Coordinator with Lake HVAC you will be working in a fast paced construction environment driving exceptional quality and service for midsize to large commercial projects. Review/Create 3D Models from General Contractors/Engineers Drawings Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using NavisWorks Manage Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit Hold weekly coordination meetings with project team members Early design review and constructability analysis Manage / Update BIM Project Documents 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification 4D Scheduling / Simulation using Autodesk NavisWorks Technical management of project BIM data sets Perform Job site visits to for all coordination purposes Meet w/ Foreman and Project Managers (PMs) during layout & submission process Attend Coordination Meetings w/ clients and Lake PMs & Foreman as required Work with estimating department on project initiation, drawing distribution and manufacturer / subcontractor quotations Job Qualifications Will need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, hardworking and have the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Will need the ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels. Specific qualification includes: Knowledge in Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD Knowledge of basic construction processes and procedures Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Completed coursework in Construction, Architecture or an equivalent combination of training and or work experience.
