Operations Manager

Numeo is growing fast. We need an Operations Manager in Chicago to keep the machine running — processes, vendors, logistics, and the day‑to‑day that makes everything else possible. About the role Numeo builds AI agents for U.S. trucking companies. As we scale, we need someone who can build and run the operational backbone of our U.S. presence — from vendor relationships and office logistics to process documentation and cross‑functional coordination. What you’ll do Own day‑to‑day operations for the Chicago office and U.S.‑based activities Build and document internal processes — hiring, onboarding, vendor management, and more Coordinate between teams across time zones (Chicago, Palo Alto, Tashkent) Manage vendor and partner relationships Identify operational gaps and fix them before they slow us down Support the founding team on special projects and strategic initiatives What we’re looking for 3+ years in operations, chief of staff, or a similar generalist role Extremely organized — you track details without being asked Strong communicator who can work across cultures and time zones Bias toward action — you'd rather fix something than escalat Comfortable with ambiguity and fast‑changing priorities Nice to have Experience in a high‑growth startup environment Background in logistics, freight, or SaaS Familiarity with remote‑first team coordination Who we are We’re a small team building hard things.
