Position Summary

The HR Generalist will support a variety of HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, personnel records management, benefits administration, and compliance. This role is ideal for an HR professional with foundational HR experience who enjoys supporting employees and maintaining accurate HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation.
• Maintain employee files and HR records.
• Process employment-related documentation, including status changes and terminations.
• Respond to employee questions regarding company policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Assist with benefits enrollment and administration.
• Support leave of absence and workers' compensation processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
• Track required employee certifications, licenses, and training records.
• Prepare HR reports and assist with audits as needed.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and HR projects.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Human Resources experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HR practices and employment regulations.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Experience in the security, staffing, or service industry is a plus.
