Lead Estimator & Project Manager - Commercial Concrete Location: Triangle Area, NC Company: ARW Concrete Contracting, LLC We are seeking a Lead Estimator & Project Manager to take ownership of estimating accuracy and project execution from bid through closeout. This is a senior-level role for someone who understands construction numbers, sequencing, and field realities—and can manage multiple projects without constant oversight. You will be responsible for accurate takeoffs, pricing, bid strategy, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and cost control, while working closely with ownership, field supervisors, and clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accountability and wants to be a key decision-maker in a growing company. Key Responsibilities: Cultivate strong relationships with the clients in the area Prepare accurate take-offs, estimates, and bids for commercial concrete projects per the scope requirements Develop initial project schedules and manage submittals and change orders Proactively track unit costs, change orders, and job profitability Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing to perform buy out activities What You Bring To The Team: Strong team player with a positive attitude Self-motivated with the ability to resolve complex issues Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems Thorough understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and tracking Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in construction estimating Knowledge of Microsoft programs, Bluebeam and/or On-Screen-Take-Off Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing Why Join Us: Competitive pay based on experience and performance Competitive benefits package including profit sharing plan Strong team dynamics and growth opportunities ARW Concrete Contracting LLC
