Sr. Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist serves as the primary operational partner to the Head of Human Resources, supporting the day-to-day administration of all HR programs while ensuring an exceptional employee experience. This role owns payroll administration, benefits management, employee lifecycle administration, HRIS data integrity, compliance, and HR operations while providing administrative and project support for recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and organizational initiatives. Key Responsibilities HR Operations Manage daily HR operations and employee inquiries Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data Prepare employment letters and HR documentation Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities Manage personnel files and compliance documentation Ensure completion of employment documentation Maintain organizational charts and employee directories Support policy administration Assist with internal HR communications Payroll Administration Serve as the primary payroll administrator by: Prepare bi-weekly payroll Audit payroll data for accuracy Process new hires, terminations and employee changes Manage PTO balances Coordinate payroll with Finance Maintain payroll records Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll regulations Benefits Administration Own day-to-day benefits administration including: Employee enrollments Qualifying life event changes Respond to employee benefits questions Audit monthly benefit invoices Maintain benefit eligibility records Partner with the Head of HR to: Coordinate background checks Support onboarding logistics Employee Lifecycle Administration Support employees throughout their employment by: Leave administration Offboarding Employment verification requests HR Compliance Support compliance with employment regulations by: Maintain I-9 documentation E-Verify administration Labor law compliance Employee acknowledgements Audit personnel files Support employment law compliance initiatives Employee Experience Support employee engagement initiatives including: Employee recognition programs HR events Wellness initiatives Employee communications Training coordination Office celebrations Culture initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field 3–5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience Experience processing payroll Experience administering employee benefits Strong understanding of employment laws HRIS experience (UKG) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent organizational skills Strong attention to detail Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Excellent written and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
