DS Fab & Machine Works Inc. in Washougal, WA is looking for a skilled Manual Machinist with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating manual lathes, mills, and other conventional machine tools to produce precision parts and components. What You'll Do:
- Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other conventional machine tools
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Machine parts and components to precise tolerances
- Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part accuracy
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues on the shop floor
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience operating manual lathes and mills
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision machining skills
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
What We Offer:
- $46,020 - $49,790 annually, based on experience
