Chief Compliance Officer

To support the growth of a leading financial institution, the full-time Chief Compliance Officer will manage compliance programs, serve as the BSA Officer, and oversee regulatory relationships while working remotely or from the NYC or Columbus, OH offices. Key responsibilities Lead and develop the compliance team, establishing operational standards and training programs Own the BSA/AML and sanctions programs, ensuring comprehensive policy management and compliance monitoring Manage regulatory exams and audits, maintaining relationships with regulators and ensuring compliance in new product launches Required qualifications Extensive experience in building and managing compliance programs at regulated financial institutions Proven track record of handling regulatory exams and fostering relationships with regulators and bank partners Direct experience with OCC processes and charter application is highly desirable Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and management Strategic mindset with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate regulatory risks
