Endoscopy Technician PRN

Job Summary and Qualifications As an Endoscopy Technician, you’ll play an important role in helping provide safe, effective procedures to patients undergoing GI and endoscopy procedures. Your careful work preparing equipment and maintaining a clean, well‑organized environment will help protect patients and empower caregivers to deliver on our shared mission to improve more lives in more ways. This is a PRN position with no travel required, and no prior experience is required. Responsibilities Prepare procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment; verify equipment is in proper working order and keep supplies organized and stocked. Help position and transport patients safely and comfortably while using proper body mechanics to protect patients and yourself. Support physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following proper safety practices. Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopy equipment and keep accurate records for quality and safety. Communicate with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keeping them informed and supporting their privacy and comfort throughout care. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
