Take your expertise as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) into a dynamic educational environment serving students from kindergarten through high school. This full-time contract role offers an opportunity to make a tangible difference across a diverse district, working collaboratively with an onsite OT who will provide ongoing supervision and support.
Your assignment spans four vibrant buildings—two elementary, one middle, and one high school—ensuring every day brings variety and the chance to build strong relationships with staff and students alike. From August 25, 2026, through May 28, 2027, you’ll play a vital role in advancing student participation, independence, and confidence through targeted interventions and collaborative teamwork.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania COTA license required
- Direct experience working in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of pediatric development and educational interventions
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites in a district-wide capacity
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working as part of an interdisciplinary team
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs, supporting a positive learning environment for all
- Complete assessments, prepare documentation, and track progress in line with school and district procedures
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning with educators, parents, and the supervising OT
- Adapt strategies to serve students’ needs across a variety of educational settings and age groups
