Make a difference in the lives of students across a district-wide assignment supporting K-12 learners. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work collaboratively with an Occupational Therapist, providing essential therapy services across four buildings—two elementary, one middle, and one high school. The supportive environment helps enhance student participation, foster independence, and achieve individual educational goals.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania COTA license is required
- Previous experience with school-based settings highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy interventions for diverse ages and educational needs
- Commitment to supporting a positive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with an onsite Occupational Therapist, who will provide supervision and mentorship
- Deliver direct treatment and therapeutic support for K-12 students, traveling between multiple buildings as needed
- Contribute to the evaluation, planning, and documentation process as outlined by student IEPs
- Engage collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to help students maximize their functional abilities within the school setting
- Maintain records and progress reports in compliance with district and regulatory standards
This full-time opportunity runs from late August 2026 through the end of May 2027, with a commitment of 35 hours per week. As you support the district’s OT program, you’ll enjoy the chance to broaden your experience while making a meaningful impact across varied educational levels.
