Operations Manager

Position Summary Initiates, directs, and participates in community outreach programs, encouraging and supporting associates and managers to serve as exemplary community members while maintaining relationships with key individuals or groups. Represents the company to external organizations, champions company-sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts to associates, customers, and the local community. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by holding hourly associates accountable, analyzing reports, and implementing asset protection and safety controls. Maintain quality assurance standards, oversee safety and operational reviews, and develop actionable plans to correct deficiencies. Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, performance evaluation, and recognition. Model exceptional customer service standards, support customer service initiatives, resolve complaints and issues, and lead process improvements for a high‑quality customer experience. Assist the store manager in driving financial performance by achieving sales and profit goals, reviewing PL statements, controlling expenses, and developing corrective plans. Coordinate job‑related activities, maintain relationships with stakeholders, support initiatives, and build accountability. Ensure adherence to company policies, support the Open Door Policy, and foster a workplace that values belonging and integrity. Minimum Qualifications Two years of college education; OR one year of retail experience and one year of supervisory experience; OR two years of general work experience and one year of supervisory experience. Required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination responsibilities.
