Weekender Program – Salary and Schedule Overview

Individuals hired for a Weekender position are required to work two (2) 12-hour shifts between 7:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday. In return for this commitment, Weekenders will be compensated at 1.5 times their regular hourly rate for these shifts. Individuals in Weekender roles qualify for full-time medical and dental benefits, whereas eligibility for all other benefits is at part‑time levels.

Weekender position. Saturday and Sunday 7am-7:30pm Get paid for 36 hours but work 24 hours.

A Brief Overview

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role involves operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and providing exceptional patient care. The CT Technologist collaborates with radiologists, referring physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver accurate imaging results in a timely manner. They must maintain compliance with organizational policies, as well as state and federal regulations, and uphold standards of practice in radiation safety and patient confidentiality.

What You Will Do

• Demonstrate successful technical/patient skills by efficiently implementing CT scanning protocols and procedures in Diagnostic CT according to expected service excellence standards.
• Collaborate effectively and in a timely manner with coworkers, staff and patients while displaying a positive attitude.
• Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment.
• Adheres to ALARA, Image Gently, Image Wisely standards and hospital CT safety standards.
• Consistently follow hospital and department guidelines for patient identification and safety.
• Demonstrate competency in patient and technical imaging skills by producing a variety of radiological procedures while maintaining the highest standard of care independently and collaboratively.
• Display a commitment to hospital mission and values.
• Maintain licensure and continuing education requirements.
• Use administrative skills to contribute to the successful operation of the department.
• Effectively communicate with ordering providers and/or radiologists to properly protocol patient studies.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning and demonstrate ability to initiate service repair process.
• Refer to competency for all essential duties.
