As an Editor, it is your job to ensure the customer experience lives through product, its presentation, packaging, and care. Responsibilities Ensure the customer experience lives through product, its presentation, packaging, and care. Collaborate with all members of the store team to ensure every customer touchpoint throughout their experience is cohesive and seamless. Instill joy and playfulness to set the tone for the overall culture within the store team. Cover front‑ and back‑of‑house operations and train in all aspects of store operation. Model and coach Glossier’s customer experience principles as defined by the Selling Ceremony, consistently delivering memorable and inspiring experiences. Become an expert on the entire product portfolio, including basics, benefits, application, formula, customer recommendations, and care. Lead inclusive, interactive product engagement: demonstrations, applications, recommendations, routine building across customers. Facilitate meaningful customer interactions with a hospitality mindset during in‑store events, master classes, promotional activations, and other initiatives. Focus on mastering selling behaviors to meet and exceed business objectives, monitoring key performance indicators such as AOV and UPT. Develop and nurture relationships with customers, engaging them pre‑ and post‑visits for promotions and follow‑ups through consistent clienteling efforts. Attend to all customer service expectations, training fundamentals, becoming exemplary editor and advisor to team members. Monitor customer feedback and share insights with leadership and stakeholders. Serve as a brand ambassador, fully versed in Glossier brand and experience. Operate with optimism, joy, and safety champion: maintain safe work environment, report hazards. Communicate feedback on inventory logistics, packaging, and customer experience to store leadership. Serve as product guru and resource for demonstrations, especially for new hires or product launches. Collaborate on special projects with leadership and store team. Take pride in inventory, facilities, equipment, and technology upkeep, organization, safety per federal and state guidelines. Restock and replenish inventory per operational standards, ensuring accuracy and quality. Receive, inspect, and report shipment receipts accurately and report discrepancies. Participate in visual projects such as new display activations, floor moves, product launches, and brand events. Uphold uniform and presentation standards. Support newly hired team members in operational procedures. Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information. Multi‑task with high service standards.
