ICU Registered Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, every other weekend, floating and call required.
The ICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in an intensive care setting. This role requires a combination of ICU nursing and stepdown responsibilities, with the potential for medical-surgical overflow care. The nurse will be expected to float between units as required.
Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
Monitor vital signs and thoroughly assess patients.
Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
Float to stepdown and medical-surgical departments as required.
Participate in on-call rotation as necessary.
Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Active RN license in the state of practice.
Experience in stepdown and medical-surgical units preferred.
