Job Description Job Description Home Grown Outdoor Finishes Hardscape Crew Manager Location: Elizabethtown, PA Job Type: Full-time, W-2 employment Pay: $25 to $30 / hour About the Role Home Grown Outdoor Finishes is a growing hardscape, landscape, paving, and outdoor services company seeking an experienced Hardscape Crew Manager to lead residential and commercial outdoor construction projects. This role is ideal for a skilled hardscaper who enjoys hands-on work, leading a crew, and building high-quality patios, retaining walls, walkways, and outdoor living spaces. Position Overview The Hardscape Crew Manager will oversee daily field operations for hardscape projects, including crew leadership, installation quality, jobsite organization, equipment use, and communication with the operations team and customers. We offer year-round employment with no winter layoffs. During the winter season, employees support commercial snow removal operations as needed. Key Responsibilities Lead a crew of 1 to 2 other individuals in the installation of paver patios, concrete patios, retaining walls, walkways, and outdoor living spaces Perform hands-on hardscape, concrete, and basic masonry work Read and follow blueprints, site plans, layouts, and project specifications Ensure work is completed according to proper installation methods and company quality standards Operate equipment and tools, including skid steers, compactors, saws, and related hardscape equipment Manage daily jobsite workflow, materials, tools, and crew productivity Train and mentor crew members Communicate with Project Managers, customers, vendors, and team members Identify and resolve jobsite issues as they arise Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite Follow all company safety policies and procedures Winter Work - Commercial Snow Removal Assist with commercial snow removal during the winter season Perform snow plowing, shoveling, snow blowing, and salting as needed Work flexible winter hours based on weather conditions, including early mornings, overnight shifts, weekends, and overtime when required Help keep commercial properties safe and accessible during winter weather Expectations Projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards Crews are organized, productive, and properly supported Materials, tools, and equipment are ready for each job Project plans and specifications are followed accurately Jobsites remain clean, safe, and professional Communication with customers and internal team members is clear and timely Qualifications 2+ years of experience in hardscaping, concrete, and basic masonry Previous experience leading a crew in hardscape, landscape, construction, or outdoor services Knowledge of paver installation, retaining walls, patios, walkways, and outdoor living projects Ability to read blueprints, layouts, and site plans Experience operating skid steers, compactors, saws, and related equipment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to manage people, materials, tools, and daily jobsite priorities Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Elizabethtown, PA Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Willingness to support commercial snow removal during the winter season Dependable, hardworking, and committed to quality workmanship Compensation & Benefits $25 to $30 based on experience Full-time, W-2 employment Year-round work with no winter layoffs 401(k) matching Paid time off Paid holidays Overtime opportunities Additional earning opportunities during winter snow operations Training and leadership development Growth opportunities within the company High-quality equipment and supportive team environment Schedule Monday-Friday Day shift 8-hour and 10-hour shifts depending on project needs Weekends as needed Overtime as required Winter snow work may include early mornings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays Why Home Grown Outdoor Finishes Home Grown Outdoor #J-18808-Ljbffr Home Grown Outdoor Finishes, Inc.
