Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Subacute Unit
Golden Rose Care Center - Pasadena

Golden Rose Care Center is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our dedicated and compassionate team in the Subacute Unit . We offer competitive pay, shift differentials, training support, and a $600 sign-on bonus after 90 days (Full Time Employees Only, must be in good standing - Attendance and Performance).

Pay and Bonuses
• $23–$27 per hour, based on CNA experience
• $600 sign-on bonus (Full Time Employees Only, must be in good standing - Attendance and Performance)

Shift Differentials
• +$1 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts

Available Shifts

Full Time   Subacute Unit:

• AM: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• PM: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• NOC: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

*4 on 2 off rotating schedule

Part Time:

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday

• AM: (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
• PM: (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
• NOC: (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

CNA Responsibilities
• Work under the supervision of the Charge Nurse
• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Provide physical comfort, emotional support, and social interaction
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment
• Protect resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Perform rounds per protocol and as needed
• Complete required documentation and in-service training
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Job Functions
• Respond to call lights promptly
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, and hygiene
• Make beds and change linens
• Assist with toileting and incontinent care
• Serve and assist with meals; record intake and output
• Weigh residents as requested
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and range of motion
• Use proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Follow universal precautions and safety rules

Requirements
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
• BLS certification (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Honest, dependable, and compassionate
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• U.S. work authorization

Experience
• Worked 1 year as a CNA (Required)

• Proof of passing the state CNA exam or current CNA License Number
• BLS (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Valid ID (Driver’s License, Social Security card, or Passport)
