The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist patients in improving mobility, restoring function, relieving pain, and preventing or limiting permanent physical disabilities. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality care./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliAssist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist./liliProvide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional activities./liliMonitor patients progress and report observations to the supervising Physical Therapist./liliInstruct patients and families in exercises and techniques to be continued at home./liliPrepare treatment areas and maintain equipment in clean and safe condition./liliDocument patient care services accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards./liliParticipate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care./liliAdhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliAssociates degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program./liliCurrent PTA license or certification in the state of practice./liliCPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)./liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills./liliAbility to follow directions, work independently, and as part of a team./li/ul/div
