What will my day-to-day look like as a tax associate?

Each day as a tax professional looks a little different, so if you value variety, this role may be a great fit for you.

• Work on a variety of assignments such as preparing tax returns, communicating with taxing authorities, drafting memos, and attending client meetings
• Collaborate with professionals across levels from associates to partners who bring diverse skill sets and expertise to client matters
• Engage in regular discussions with colleagues to exchange ideas, ask questions, and receive feedback
• Attend training sessions to strengthen your technical knowledge and learn how to best serve clients
• Participate in firm social events to build relationships and feel connected to your Frazier & Deeter community
• Learn from your buddy mentor who supports you throughout your first year, answers questions, and helps you navigate the firm

• Use Microsoft Office tools effectively including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Hold an undergraduate degree in accounting
• Be eligible to sit for the CPA exam
