Senior UX Designer (Mobile Apps - iOS & Android)OverviewWe are seeking a Senior UX Designer with extensive experience designing native mobile applications for iOS and Android. This role will be responsible for creating intuitive, engaging, and scalable mobile experiences that serve end users in complex, data-rich environments. The ideal candidate combines strong interaction design skills with a deep understanding of mobile-first design principles, platform guidelines, accessibility standards, and user-centered design methodologies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end design of native mobile experiences across iOS and Android applications.Create intuitive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with platform-specific best practices.Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and business stakeholders to define product requirements and user experiences.Translate complex information, workflows, and data into clear, actionable, and user-friendly mobile interfaces.Design mobile experiences that leverage native device capabilities, notifications, permissions, connectivity, sensors, and system interactions.Ensure consistency across products through scalable design systems and reusable components.Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback into iterative design improvements.Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout implementation to ensure design quality and platform alignment.Advocate for accessibility, inclusive design, and seamless mobile experiences.Required Qualifications8+ years of UX, Product Design, or Mobile Product Design experience, with a strong focus on native applications.Proven experience designing and shipping mobile products on both iOS and Android platforms.Expert knowledge of:Apple Human Interface Guidelines (HIG)Material Design for AndroidNative mobile interaction patternsMobile accessibility best practicesStrong portfolio demonstrating:Native mobile app design workUser journeys and task flowsWireframes and prototypesHigh-fidelity UI designDesign systemsUsability testing and design rationaleAdvanced proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and developer handoff.Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive mobile design principles.Experience working within Agile product development environments.Preferred QualificationsExperience designing applications that integrate with connected devices, wearables, sensors, or smart products.Experience with enterprise, healthcare, fintech, SaaS, or other complex mobile products.Experience designing data visualization experiences optimized for mobile devices.Familiarity with mobile engagement features such as notifications, onboarding, account management, and personalization.Experience building and maintaining design systems across multiple mobile platforms.Knowledge of Human Factors, accessibility standards (WCAG), and usability testing methodologies.Experience leveraging AI-powered design tools and workflows.Top SkillsNative Mobile App Design (iOS & Android)UX DesignProduct DesignFigmaDesign SystemsMobile User ResearchPrototypingInteraction DesignInformation ArchitectureAccessibility DesignIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a mobile-first designer who understands the nuances between iOS and Android experiences, has successfully launched consumer-facing mobile applications, and can balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints to deliver exceptional mobile products.
