Travel Physical Therapist jobs in Northwest Washington, DC offer you the chance to work in a vibrant urban setting known for its historic neighborhoods, diverse dining, and easy access to national landmarks. You will help patients recover from injury and illness through movement, pain management, and hands-on care, typically traveling to different locations every 13 weeks to support facilities experiencing staffing shortages.Your responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, diagnosing movement issues, developing individualized care plans, and using exercises and equipment to ease pain and improve mobility. Recommended qualifications include a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, a passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE), active state licensure, and at least one year of clinical experience.
