Be part of our global success and together, we accelerate the discovery, development and delivery of solutions that safeguard and improve human health.The Chemical Production Technician I is responsible for manufacturing production batches of media following Phenomenex SOPs, company policies and other guidelines.This position reports to the Sr. Production Manager, Media Manufacturing and is part of the Manufacturing & Operations located in Torrance, CA and will be an on-site role.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Carries out processing steps in a batch manufacturing environment by operating production equipment and using sound judgement as needed. This may include assisting with in-process testing to assure batches meet specifications.Weighs, measures and adds raw materials to ensure batches contain correct materials and quantities.Maintain records and work area to comply with SOP's, company policies, cGMP and ISO 9001 requirements.The essential requirements of the job include:High School Diploma or GEDIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Advanced degree or training in Chemistry or other technical fieldExperience with chemical handlingPhenomenex, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
