FASTSIGNS, San Marcos is looking for a full-time Production Specialist who can work a consistent weekly schedule with the occasional flexibility to work additional hours depending on the Center's workload. The Production Specialist possesses the maturity, interest, and energy to collaborate with others on the team. We need someone who can work with their hands and is interested in getting creative to find solutions. As a Production Specialist, your primary responsibility would be to produce computer-generated full-color vinyl that can be weeded, cut, and applied, or printed and mounted to various products from cars to substrates to buildings. Your job will involve various levels of artistic creativity and will ultimately lead to realizing the customers idea and design and create the final product.

We are looking for candidates who have design and/or sign installing experience and will be flexible, adaptable, and able to work in all areas of the shop, from the front desk to our design workshop. In the production room, this position is responsible for all aspects of the physical construction and assembling of signs including computer cut vinyl and wide format full-color printouts. Sign assembly includes preparing substrates and applying vinyl or other media, mounting and/or laminating prints, and operating and setting up the laminator for over-laminating, encapsulation, or mounting of digitally imaged products. according to instructions. This role is also responsible for proofreading signs and conducting quality assurance to ensure the accuracy of signs. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and who is determined to make every project their absolute best.
