What You'll Do As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you'll help ensure every guest room reflects the high standards and distinctive character of The Radical Hotel. Responsibilities include: Clean and service guest rooms to Hilton and hotel quality standards Make beds, replace linens, towels, and guest amenities Clean and sanitize bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces Vacuum, dust, mop, and maintain assigned guest rooms and public areas Inspect rooms to ensure every detail is guest-ready Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and damaged items promptly Restock housekeeping carts and maintain organized supply areas Follow all safety, sanitation, and hotel cleanliness procedures Respect guest privacy while working efficiently and professionally Work closely with the Front Desk and Engineering teams to prepare rooms for arriving guests Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments as needed What We're Looking For Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train motivated individuals Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work Reliable, punctual, and dependable Positive attitude with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Why You'll Love Working Here Be part of one of Asheville's most distinctive boutique lifestyle hotels Join a supportive team that values respect, collaboration, and hard work Competitive pay Employee discounts on hotel stays, dining, and Hilton travel benefits Paid time off and holiday benefits (for eligible employees) Health, dental, and vision insurance (for eligible employees) 401(k) with company match (for eligible employees) Who We Are The Radical Hotel is a boutique destination where art, hospitality, and culture come together. Qualifications Bend and reach to dust, clean and make beds and bathroom Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods. Talk to many different kinds of people to give information, answer questions and provide required services. Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and guest belongings that have been left behind. Use written communication skills to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork. Move fingers, arms and hands quickly and easily to perform cleaning duties. Lifting fifty (50) pounds maximum. Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and smiling.
