Responsibilities
Assist with the recruitment process, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and coordinating onboarding activities.
Prepare and maintain employee files and HR records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
Support new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
Assist with benefits administration, enrollment changes, and employee inquiries.
Process employment-related documentation, including status changes, terminations, and performance-related records.
Maintain HR databases, reports, and personnel records.
Coordinate employee training, development programs, and company events.
Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs.
Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping administration as needed.
Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, and compliance.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 1-3 years of Human Resources, recruiting, or administrative experience preferred.
Knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus.
Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, or payroll functions.
Experience in a fast-paced corporate, healthcare, manufacturing, or professional services environment.
