The Role Line Cooks at Blockhead don’t just follow tickets, you execute with precision. You’ll be responsible for turning prep into polished plates that hit the window fast, hot, and exactly to spec. This is a team sport. We win together. We move together. We protect the standard together. What You’ll Actually Do Execute menu items exactly to recipe and plating standards Maintain tight station organization (mise matters) Work clean, fast, and efficient under pressure Communicate clearly with expo and teammates Restock and manage pars during service Support teammates when they’re in the weeds Maintain food safety and sanitation standards Complete side work and station breakdown properly What Makes This Job Different We don’t run a chaotic, scream-at-each-other kitchen.
